The Features!

‘Hula’ is a traditional Hawaiian dance where dancers gyrate their hips. The hula-hoop is a tubular plastic toy which is used by gyrating the hips like a hula dancer. The hula-hoop is one of the most popular products of the 20th century.

The 1950s were a period of intense development in the toy industry. Many of the toys developed during this time are still used today. Of particular note is the hula-hoop; no other toy has received the level of attention heaped upon the hula-hoop, which is still in widespread use today. Hula-hoops were developed in the United States in 1958 and are still in use worldwide to this day.

Until now, the function and design of hula-hoops has changed little since their initial development. In particular the ring-shaped structure of the hula-hoop has never been modified.

However, a new unique hula hoop has been developed - the Funkey Hula. It can be easily assembled and separated by users. The weight of the Funkey Hula can be adjusted to suit the user. By replacing curved portions of the Funkey Hula with special protrusion handles, the Funkey Hula can serve as a massage device.

What is it? How does it work?

The Funkey Hula is a body conditioner designed to help burn fat from the hips and waist. It is a convenient and fun way to manage those hard to maintain parts of the body. The Funkey Hula is made with a line of wheels at one side of the hoop with a weight body positioned opposite. The weight body generates centrifugal forces; this is the principle of the Funkey Hula.

How and when should it be used?

For beginners, the Funkey Hula should be used for a maximum of 10 minutes a day with the water container filled to around 70%. Once you have become more experienced in using it, the weight can be decreased for a better workout.

The air cushioned massage wheels condition the hips and waist and help burn fat.

Why is it better from normal round hoops?

It breaks the stereotype of conventional hula hoops. Its design enables weight adjustment so you can tailor your workout in accordance with your physical strength, making it suitable for anyone!

The massaging wheels situated on one end of the hoop makes the Funkey Hula far more effective in reducing body fat.

The centrifugal force created from using the water container along with the ‘hour glass’ design, enables better circular movements that specifically target the hips and waist.

It is easily assembled making it portable and easy to store wherever you go.
